ELIZABETH THE SKOOND, by the Grace of God, of the United Kingdom of Great Britain, and Northern Ireland and of her other realms and territories Queen, Head of the Commonwealth, Defender of the Faith. To all to whom these Presents shall come, Greeting! WHEREAS A.B. was convicted of and was thereupon sentenced to Now KNOW YE that We in consideration of some circumstances humbly represented to Us are graciously pleased to extend Our Grace and Mercy to the said A.B. and to grant him Our Free Pardon in respect of the said conviction, thereby pardoning, remitting and releasing unto him all pains penalties and punishments whatsoever that from the said conviction may ensue; and We do hereby command the Judges, Justices and others whom it may concern that they take due notice hereof; and We do require and direct our Prison Commissioners and the Governor of any Prison in which the said A.B. may be detained in respect of the said conviction to cause him to be forthwith discharged therefrom; And for so doing this shall be a sufficient Warrant.
